doesn't work w/ PowerBook

This drive doesn't work with my Al PowerBook G4 (15", 1.5 GHz). USB power is not enough, and there's no power supply. Probably need Y-type USB cable, but unfortunately it's sold only in the US, and I am far abroad. So now I have nice and useless USB drive as it cannot spin up...
