iTMS goes offline

Ahead of Apple's special "Showtme" event this morning in San Francisco, Apple's iTunes Music Store and its online Apple Store is offline. Analysts expect announcements related to iTunes, Apple's rumored movie store, and more. When users click on iTune Music Store link, a message appears in the user's browser saying "It's Showtime. The iTunes Store is being updated," while Apple's online store says "We are busy updating the store for you and will be back within the hour." [updated] (Editor's note: As many have pointed out the previously noted 'iTunes Video' links on several international sites had 'movie trailers' embedded into link, likely indicating that they were simplying pointing to the trailers of those movies.)

hmm. the link to the .de QT page indeed shows links to "iTunes Videos", but if you look at the actual link text, it's "blahbla?omni-pg=Movie+Trailers" Plus I doubt they would name feature-length movies "iTunes Videos"
