Deep Freeze Mac 3.1

Faronics today released Deep Freeze Mac 3.1, its software designed to protect and preserve original computer configurations to eliminate routine maintenance while allowing unrestricted access to the system. With Deep Freeze, a restart resets the computer to its original state -- no matter how much or what type of malicious activity has occurred. The latest edition of Deep Freeze is manageable directly through the console of the LANDesk Management Suite. Deep Freeze 3.1 also includes the option to add or delete multiple individual ThawSpaces -- partitions on frozen drives where users can permanently store data -- from within the Deep Freeze Mac Controller. Additionally, ThawSpaces are now resizable within a range of 1MB to 120GB. Administrators can pre-configure all options in Deep Freeze Mac to create customized installation packages, which are deployable and manageable using LANDesk or Apple Remote Desktop. Deep Freeze Mac 3.1 is priced from $25 per seat, and requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
