MetaCommunications today released Approval Manager 1.0, a cross platform workflow application for managing proof approvals in marketing, creative, and production environments. Approval Manager is designed to provide approval workflow management for digital proofing technologies such as Adobe Acrobat (Professional, Standard, and Reader versions), Kodak RealTimeProof Partner, Microsoft Word, and others. Key features include support for stage plans as well as digital proof rounds; proof planning and templating; proof, stage, and round scheduling; support for linear, parallel, and cyclic workflows; a Dashboard interface view based on manager, production, and reviewer soles; and visual queues for status, schedule prediction, and management. Approval Manager 1.0 is available from $4,000 with complete systems.
