Nintendo: Wii on track
As Sony struggles, it would seem that everything is peachy at Nintendo, at least on the surface. Nintendo of America has released a statement which reads, "Wii is on track to ship in Q4. Nintendo plans to ship 6 million systems to retailers around the world between its launch in the fourth quarter of 2006 and the end of its fiscal year on March 31, 2007." Clearly a shot across Sony's bow, though Nintendo of Europe is saying they "do not comment on other company’s plans or announcements."
