Ninja Gaiden 2 confirmed?
The NES-era Ninja Gaiden games should be coming to the Wii's Virtual Console, but what about the expected 360 sequel to the Xbox game? Tecmo's Tomonobu Itagaki recently dropped a hint while speaking about the 360's multi-threaded architecture: "...if you're working on a game like Ninja Gaiden 2, where it's really important that enemies are smart and challenging, then we might use up to two threads on AI." As if that weren't blatant enough, he was pressed about the game's existence. "I won't upset anybody by denying your expectations. I like to see people's expectations fulfilled." He might be telling us what we want to hear, but then, it would be just as easy to tell us to hold on.
