Dave Perry's MMORPG

Infamous gaming icon and former Shiny designer Dave Perry (known for Earthworm Jim, MDK, and Enter the Matrix) is now working with Acclaim on a free MMORPG called 2Moons. Free? There must be a catch of course, and that comes from penalties to bonuses and experience if a player chooses to disable the interface-based advertising. "It will be like on television, you get to see a pay-per-view Mike Tyson fight that would normally cost you forty bucks, but you turn on a single image in the bottom right hand corner you get to watch it for free."

A more welcome touch is an intense level of violence - 2Moons will be one of rare MMORPG's carrying an M rating. "The game is going to probably be the most violent MMO on the market," Perry says. He even touts, "I’m doing my best to make this a violent game." If Perry has his way, the game will also be released within six months from today.
