Emergence Day irrelevant?
It turns out that all the hype for Gears of War's "Emergence Day" may be pointless. Epic's Cliff Blezinski has let slip that the game will actually be shipping on November 7th, and since every retailer will "be able to sell it the minute they get it," and "some of those stores will have the game well before the 12th," Emergence Day is really just a firm date by which all North Americans can have the game.
