NEO 17 LCD touch monitor

CyberTouch today rolled out its NEO 17-inch LCD touch monitor, a wall-mount widescreen open-frame touch screen monitor. The display utilizes a force-actuated resistive touch screen that is usable with a gloved hand, long nails, or any stylus accessory. The monitor is designed for the home-automation as well as home theater industries, and features a bright (450 nit) liquid crystal display that draws 31 watts of power. The low power consumption negates the need of a fan, reducing constant noise levels. The display input uses VGA with 1280 x 768 resolution, and the touch screen communications connect via either Serial RS232 or USB. The monitor includes drivers for Mac, Linux, and Windows systems (pricing was unavailable).
