Livid releases Octav-4

Livid Instruments today released Octav-4, allowing users to control up to eight Edirol v-4 video mixers for synchronized and centralized control. Octav-4 supports multi-screen control by linking multiple v-4 video mixers with up to 32 video inputs and eight unique video outputs. The software takes advantage of the V-4's MIDI integration, allowing users to quickly configure, connect, and control multiple V-4s. Octav-4 features one step MIDI setup, cascading controls, automated input and transition cycling, BPM transitions, effects selection, and preset saving. The application is priced at $130, and requires Mac OS X (specific system requirements were unavailable).
