Elmer 6.0 released
Black Cat Systems today released Elmer 6.0, a tool designed to help users study for amateur radio exams by preparing practice exams that are graded upon completion. The software shares test results along with problem questions with tested users, and includes questions from the same pool used for real exams to help users prepare for the Technician exam, General exam, or Extra-class exam. Each section of the prepared exam includes the same number of questions as the real amateur exam, and Elmer includes the new RF Exposure questions along with relevant diagrams. Elmer is priced at $25, and requires Mac OS 8.6-9.2 or Mac OS X.
