Speck ships MobileTune

Speck Products today unveiled the MobileTune FM transmitter and charger for iPod, a shift-knob inspired transmitter that enables iPod owners to play music through any FM stereo. The device is clad in genuine leather with a polished chrome dial, and comes with a built-in antenna to provide a strong signal. MobileTune charges the iPod while in use, and features a self-resetting fuse to protect the accessory from power surges. A tuner dial works with an LCD to offer multiple channel selection options. The MobileTune fits all 12-volt power sockets, offering compatibility with iPod mini, iPod nano, iPod with color display, iPod U2 special edition, the 40GB iPod, and the video iPod. MobileTune is priced at $60.
