VPN Tracker 4.7 released

equinux has released VPN Tracker 4.7, an update to its VPN client for Mac OS X. The update is free for all existing VPN Tracker 4.x and sports new features like built-in support for Linksys RV042 and RV082 VPN routers as well as newly added support for Netgear's FVG318 ProSafe Wireless VPN Firewall. VPN Tracker, which communicates with a variety of hardware and software devices based on the IPsec Standard, now allows users to connect to over 250 commercial VPN gateways from different vendors. In addition, the update fixes various issues with remote DNS servers when Mode Config is used for client provisioning. "VPN Tracker supports a broad range of VPN devices, from low-cost up to high-scale enterprise solutions, and is the best choice for any VPN solution on the Mac plattform," according to the company. The full version is $90, while updates for v3.x customers are $40.
