SFX Machine RT, Pro go Universal

The Sound Guy today released Universal Binary versions of SFX Machine RT 1.0 and SFX Machine Pro 1.01, its sound design plug-ins. The company is also offering a coupon via its website good for $25 off all products until the end of June. SFX Machine Pro 1.01 fixes a bug running under MOTU's Digital Performer, and adds more than 50 new effects that bring the software's total number of effects above 300. A Modular Preset Editor allows users to create their own effects from scratch, while Host Tempo Sync matches LFO frequencies to delay times in music. The update also includes an Output Limiter, further enhancing the "Swiss army knife" of audio utilities. SFX Machine RT is priced at $100, while SFX Machine Pro sells for $200. SFX Machine RT requires Mac OS 9.2/Mac OS X 10.2 or later, while SFX Machine Pro requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
