Bare Bones Software today released
Yojimbo 1.2, an update to the information organizer utility. Yojimbo 1.2 features a new "Copy Item Link" command that enables users to place links to Yojimbo items in other applications, such as Apple's iCal. The update includes a pair of "bookmarklets" that facilitate bookmarking or archiving a page to Yojimbo with a single click, and allows users to highlight search terms when displaying the results of a search. A "Quick Start" movie coupled with a "Getting Started" reference document provide a crash course in how to make the most of the software. Yojimbo 1.2 allows bookmarks to export as clipping files, and includes an enhanced "import" scripting verb. Yojimbo 1.2 requires Mac OS X 10.4.3 or later, and is available as a free upgrade to all registered users. The application is priced at $40 for an individual license, $70 for a family-pack license, or $30 for an educational license. [corrected]
