Lismore Software Systems today released Guest PC 1.9.3, allowing users to easily create and manage a virtual x86 system. The update includes the MMX instruction set for better compatibility, resulting in a 15 percent performance boost. Guest PC 1.9.3 fixes FPU emulation bugs, allows full usage of the Nokia PC Suite, and improves support for Mac OS X printers. Other bug fixes include a crash that would occur after hibernation in Windows XP, sound cripple/distortion in some applications, and various FPU emulation errors.
