Thunderbird goes Universal

The Mozilla Foundation has released Thunderbird 1.5.0.4, updating the full-featured email client to provide native Intel Mac support as a Universal Binary. Thunderbird 1.5.0.4 provides stability and security enhancements designed to provide a safer email experience for users. The update offers several security fixes which include Website XSS using BOM on UTF-8 pages; double-free on malformed VCard; buffer overflow in crypto.signText(); remote compromise via content-defined setter on object prototypes; privilege escalation through XUL persist; HTTP response smuggling; fixes for crashes with potential memory corruption; and EvalInSandbox escape. Thunderbird 1.5.0.4 improves product stability, and requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later.
