Ricoh today introduced the Ricoh Aficio SP C410DN and Aficio SP C411DN color laser printers, two compact printing systems designed to combine color and fast print speeds. Designed for small to medium size businesses and large workgroups, the Aficio SP C410DN and Aficio SP C411DN allow efficient color and black & white printing with expanded security and energy-saving features. The Aficio SP C410DN boasts print speeds of 26 pages per minute (ppm), while the Aficio SP C411DN produces 31ppm in both full color and black and white. Standard integrated duplexing saves both time and paper, printing two-sided pages at nearly 100 percent of simplex speed. With extended memory and high performance 600 MHz controller, the Aficio SP C410DN and Aficio SP C411DN provide quick output of large files. The Aficio SP C410DN is available for $1,200, and the Aficio SP C411DN ships for $1,600. The IS200e Image Scanner is priced at $1,800.
Media
The SP C410DN and SP C411DN excel in media handling from envelopes to transparencies, printing on thick paper stocks up to 55 pounds. Bond (110 pound index) allows for in-house production of previously outsourced materials, and both printers are built to support heavy use environments.
Security
The Aficio SP C410DN and Aficio SP C411DN offer data encryption and unauthorized copy control. DataOverwrite makes it virtually impossible for malicious users to access and reconstruct residual image data on the hard drive.
Access
The Aficio SP C410DN and Aficio SP C411DN provide easy access to consumables with a top-loading design, and a four-line LCD control panel graphically displays supply levels for at-a-glance status updates. Device management utilities such as SmartDeviceMonitor allow users to monitor a large group of Ricoh devices, and incorporate such features such as batch configurations, email error notifications, and usage tracking.
Features
The Aficio SP C410DN and Aficio SP C411DN's feature up to 1200 x 1200 dpi image resolution, a standard 550-sheet paper tray and 100-sheet bypass, integrated automatic duplex printing, and a PDF direct feature that allows both devices to print PDF files without the need to open or spool the files. The printers offer standard 10/100Mbps Ethernet connectivity, as well as USB 2.0 support.
PictBridge support allows for printing photographs directly from a PictBridge enabled digital camera, without a computer. Email alerts can notify users on print job status, toner, and paper levels.
The Aficio SP C410DN and Aficio SP C411DN can be enhanced with the optional Ricoh Aficio IS200e Image Scanner upgrade that provides full color and black and white scanning at 17 and 33 images per minute (ipm), respectively. The IS200e enables digital document distribution and sharing with the Scan-to-Email and Scan-to-Folder functions as well as color copying with the Scan-to-Print function. The IS200e Image Scanner boasts 600 x 600 dpi optical resolution.
