Call of Duty 2 trailer

Apple has posted a Mac trailer for Call of Duty 2 on its website, depicting Activision's World War II first-person action game. Call of Duty 2 attempts to redefine the cinematic intensity and chaos of battle as seen through the eyes of ordinary soldiers fighting together in epic World War II conflicts. Multiplayer support offers online Axis versus Allies team-based play, while solo players experience new conflicts and enemies to face, as well as a wider range of locales/environments across the European Theater. Choice-based game play enables players to order missions as desired, while dozens of Allied soldiers remain fully aware of the changing situations around them. Call of Duty 2 is available for pre-order for $50, and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.

This is pretty cool, but why do we have to wait till 2006 to play the 2003 game of the year. Kinda pointless now that those of us with intel machines can just run it on windows. At least its a Universal Binary.

    No, not 3 years later.

You read that wrong. Call of Duty 2 is the sequel to 2003's Call of Duty. COD 2 was released for the PC in Ocotber 2005, so yes, the Mac version is still 7 months behind the PC release, which is still to slow for most people.
