  • Disk Order 2.2 ($23) is designed as an advanced Finder replacement with a built-in FTP client, as well as the ability to handle archives as standard folders. The double-panel file management utility includes "Drives Buttons" that allow users to switch between mounted volumes and connected FTP servers. Version 2.2 also offers a "Directory Hot List," an easily configurable favorite directories list enabling users to switch to virtually any directory on the system with a single keystroke.   • Diet Sleuth 4.5.0 ($35) updates the nutritional database and personal health logbook application, adding features to calculate daily caloric needs and estimated weight loss. Diet Sleuth allows users to keep track of what foods are consumed each day, as well as their nutritional value.   • DVDpedia, Bookpedia and CDpedia 3.0 ($18 each) upgrades the cataloging programs, bringing Universal support for native compatibility with Intel Macs. The updates feature new library-independent collections, and a links section that allows users to link anything to an entry, including Web pages.   • LogOutScreenSaver 3.0.1 ($5) automatically logs a user out after their session goes idle for a pre-determined amount of time, which is set by the administrator. The application can store unsaved work on Mac OS X 10.4 installations when LogOutScreenSaver logs a user out. [Download - 1.5MB]

  • Namely 2.1 (free) offers fast access to applications by typing part of a program's name. The utility intelligently orders results based on usage.
