MacScan 2.1 comes to Intel Macs

MacScan 2.1 released


SecureMac today released MacScan 2.1, a major update to the anti-spyware application offering native support for Intel Macs as a Universal Binary. MacScan 2.1 includes an enhanced, expanded "Spyware Information Library," as well as fully updated spyware definitions to protect against the latest threats. The software also features an integrated update option designed to help guard against future threats. MacScan 2.1 offers greater overall stability, addresses bugs reported in MacScan 2.0, and includes a number of user-requested enhancements. MacScan 2.1 is priced at $25, and requires Mac OS X 10.2.4 or later. The upgrade is free for MacScan 2.0 users.
