Apple to tout Leopard

In brief: Apple will be touting Mac OS X Leopard at the WWDC 2006 in San Francisco (August 7-11th), offering attendees a sneak preview of the operating system's latest release.... MacTech Magazine today announced that the MacForge Mac open source index now has more than 35,000 projects.... The U.K. Unix and Open Systems User Group (UKUUG) is hosting an Apple Technology briefing on Mac OS X for Intel on Thursday, April 20th at 2:00 p.m. at the Imperial Hotel, Russell Square, London.... FileMaker has released a new FileMaker Files podcast focused on helping small businesses use email marketing to increase revenues cheaply and quickly, coupled with a 64-page how-to guide.... ONStor today announced the formation of the ONStor Professional Services team, which will offer enhanced services and solutions to ONStor enterprise NAS customers.

Start packin in that AAPL stock; it sure looks like it going to be a block buster year starting mid-2006 throughout 2007!

That the new OS is snappier. Snap is good. I used to snap pencils in school as a kid, and though I never got a date, it set in my mind how much I like snap. I threw myself out of a moving car once to see which bones would snap, and sadly only my R clavicle snapped, and actually, that was not too satisfying so maybe I have to rethink the whole snap thing. But I like a snappy 'puter..

You know, every time jarod touts appl stock, it sounds more and more like those emails I get telling me that some .40 stock is going to triple in value in a matter of days.
