The Omni Group has released an update to its disk cleaning utility: OmniDiskSweeper 1.5 is a Universal version that runs natively on both PowerPC- and Intel-based Macs, optimizing the application for Apple's latest hardware. OmniDiskSweeper is a utility for finding and deleting unneeded files on user's hard disks. It highlights the biggest files on your disks, and notes which are used by the system so you don't accidentally delete important files. Directories and files are sorted by size, so you can quickly locate and delete large files to make more space available. The update includes a number of improvements and fixes, and is free for existing license holders. A new license is $15.
