Stellar Technologies today announced Quote$ v1.0, a new sales tool for the Mac. Targetted at the SOHO market, it offers a simple compact interface to multiple, comprehensive price quotes saved in a fast, efficient SQL database. Users can import file price lists or build their own as well as edit/add fields and quotes. "Now, with Quote$, sales people can search for products among all their vendors and find the best pricing for their customer and their own profit. For sales people, that often translates directly into commissions. Another benefit of Quote$, for sales people, is time savings. Preparing a pricing quote takes time. The highest payoff activity for sales people it getting in front of customers" It offers Spotlight/Address Book integration, RTF support, a comprehensive history function with smart folder support, and XML export. Quote$ ($200) is a Universal application that requires Mac OS X 10.4.4.
