Users can backup to or restore from any mounted drive including CD, DVD, ATA, SCSI, FireWire, USB, or networked volumes. "We're excited to provide this new version that is now compatible with the new Intel machines," says Greg Brewer, CEO of Prosoft Engineering. "Universal Binary is an exciting and innovative new change for Apple." The software is available as a free update to current users and is priced at $60. It runs on Mac OS X 10.2 or later; a free demo is available online.
