A-OK! 3.6 released
Pyramid Design today released the latest iteration of its space simulator, A-OK! The Wings of Mercury 3.6. The application is a realistic simulation of the Mercury spacecraft that features 3D graphics, fully functional control panels, networked simulations, and a complete manual. The update includes improved high-resolution Earth models, global cloud cover, sunrises/sunsets that cause day/night lighting conditions, and improved altitude control modes with regard to accuracy and performance. Version 3.6 offers simplified joystick setup, a more accurate periscope view, and a PDF version of the flight operations manual that can be printed and downloaded separately. A-OK! The Wings of Mercury 3.6 is available for $50 or as a free upgrade to existing users, and requires Mac OS X 10.1.5 or later.
