Nyko ships Speaker Dock 2 for iPod

Nyko Technologies has begun shipping the Speaker Dock 2 for Apple's iPod, a charging cradle that allows iPod owners to listen to the device while simultaneously charging it. Designed as a lightweight, compact docking unit, the Speaker Dock 2 features a round base with two built-in acoustically balanced BDD Pro speakers. An included line-in audio cable allows the device to be used as external speakers for many other audio devices. A pass-through audio cable dock connector located in the back of the stand allows file transfers, while iPod video owners can tilt the stand to view videos at various angles. The cradle can be powered by the AC adaptor or four AA batteries, which are included. Speaker Dock 2 is compatible with all iPod models, and is priced at $100.
