Other World Computing (OWC) has begun offering memory upgrades for Apple's new Intel-based Mac mini systems. The new Mac mini's are designed with two memory slots, each holding a factory-installed 256MB memory module. OWC offers a 1GB memory kit for $110, as well as a 2GB memory kit for $230. The kits include matched pairs of memory, as recommended by Apple for maximum performance. Both memory kits are completely compatible with Mac mini Intel models, as well as other Apple and PC systems, meeting or exceeding Apple and Intel specifications. Both kits ship with a lifetime warranty, and OWC is offering 512MB and 1GB modules individually. Yesterday Ramjet unveiled its Mac mini RAM upgrade offerings, with similar kits to bolster system performance.
