SpamSieve 2.4.2 released
Developer Michael Tsai has updated SpamSieve 2.4.2, his Universal application that brings Bayesian spam filtering to Mac email clients; it allows users to control SpamSieve from within the email client in order to customize how the program intereacts with the message sorting rules. SpamSieve works with Apple Mail, Emailer, Entourage, Eudora, GyazMail, Mailsmith, Outlook Express, and PowerMail. The new version features better catching of specific types of spam improved message attachment analyzing, improved phish detection, improved performance with Apple Mail training commands on Tiger and Jaguar, changes to the coloration of spam messages in Apple Mail, the Show Window command in Apple Mail can now open the Spam Sieve help, improved troubleshooting documentation, updated Japanese localization, and more. SpamSieve costs $25.
