PhotoBank USB photo storage unveiled

SmartDisk debuts PhotoBank


SmartDisk today debuted PhotoBank, a USB photo storage device designed to increase photo storage capacity on-the-go. The company is demonstrating the new device in booth no. 4927 at PMA2006 in Orlando, FL from February 23rd through March 1st. The PhotoBank offers a quick, convenient way to directly transfer digital photos from a camera. The device offers 40GB of storage capacity that can hold over 40,000 800KB photos, and can be connected directly to a PC to offload images. An LCD status indicator and single key enable one-step quick transfers. PhotoBank will to be available in March for $180, according to SmartDisk.
