Harris & Baseview/MediaSpan Media Software have announced ProductionManagerPro 4.0, an update to their asset-management and ad-tracking solution that is set to debut in April. The program features ad searching, ad-building organization, digital asset management, automated tools for proofing, exporting, and email notifications, remote administration built-in archiving, a cross-platform Java-based server running on MySQL Pro 4.1, and more. Users can continue to build ads in QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign or Multi-Ad Creator, with an archive created of every ad and element used, and ProductionManagerPro allowing for one-click creation of EPS or PDF versions of each ad (availability and pricing were not provided).
