CopyFit XTension
Meadows Publishing has released a stand-alone version of CopyFit for use with QuarkXPress. CopyFit Desktop is an XTensions module for QuarkXPress and is compatible with Macintosh QuarkXPress versions 4.11, 5.01 and 6.5. CopyFit Server is an XTensions module that works with QuarkDDS 3.50, the server version of QuarkXPress. CopyFit modifies overset text within a box by applying a user-defined set of attribute parameters (point size, scaling, leading, etc.) as a guide. Each box in a QuarkXPress layout can be "tagged" with its own set of unique CopyFit settings, and the tagged boxes can be CopyFit at any time. CopyFit Desktop costs $225, while CopyFit Server for DDS costs $1,500.
