Microsoft throws a big deal in...what was it...1997? about needing to be the default browser (over Netscape) on the Mac. Steve gives them their way. They attain browser dominance on the Mac just like on Windows. They they do NOTHING with the browser for years forcing Apple to create its own browser and make IT the default. Then Microsoft says we're going to pick up our toys and go home. So what was the point to begin with?
