Toonz 5.0 supports Macs
Digital Video has unveiled Toonz 5.0 Harlequin, bringing Mac support to the paperless animation software. Toonz allows animators to both input and paint hand-made drawings, or draw from scratch and animate custom work afterward. The application offers a full set of drawing/editing tools, a text tool, a digital light table, and SWF support to import drawings made with Macromedia Flash. Toonz also features new generation vectors, pressure sensitivity, simple mode animation, a function editor, numerical columns, color ink recognition, and more. Audio features include easier lip syncing, as well as the ability to import multiple audio tracks. Toonz 5.0 requires Mac OS X 10.4.
