Zend has released software to enhance the speed of PHP applications. Zend Studio 5.1 is designed for professional developers and encompasses all of the components necessary for the full PHP application lifecycle. The software offers a set of editing, debugging, analysis, optimization, database, and testing tools to speed development cycles and simplify complex projects. Zend Optimizer 2.6 now features a graphical user-interface for Mac users, previously only available to Linux and Microsoft Windows users. Zend Studio 5.1 is available in Enterprise ($500), Professional ($300), and Standard ($100) editions. Zend Optimizer 2.6 is available for free (system requirements were unavailable).
