FocalBlade is a Photoshop-compatible plugin for sharpening photos for screen display and printing and producing blur, soft focus, and glow effects on 8-bit and 16-bit images. FocalBlade can be used with many graphics applications such as Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Illustrator, Painter, Fireworks, Canvas, Photoline, and GraphicConverter. FocalBlade offers three automatic sharpening tools, screen and print buttons, and several split view modes. FocalBlade for Windows or Mac OS X costs $50 for a download, $60 for a mailed CD version, and $30 for an academic/student/educational license.
