Fujitsu showcases ScanSnap color scanner

Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner


easy-to-use color scanner at this week's Expo. The scanner boasts the ability to quickly convert paper documents to Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files. The USB 2.0-enabled device features a dual 600dpi color CCD optical array, and includes the Fujitsu ScanSnap 50-page automatic document feeder (ADF). Fujitsu's ScanSnap scans 15 pages per minute, and offers automatic color detection with automatic blank page detection and deletion. Automatic de-skew and paper-size detection accompany its one-button scanning to PDF. The device is available for $500.
