MWSF debut of Image Portal


OS X Tiger and Maz OS X Server Tiger. The latest edition to the Image Portal line was built specifically for Tiger and utilizes QuickTime imaging technology to deliver video conversion tools and automated podcasting. In addition to previewing both audio and video clips, Image Portal A/V’s capabilities include keyframe display, the option to select thumbnails from keyframes, and the ability to transcode multiple formats including MOV, 3G, DV, AVI, MPEG-4, WAV and FLC. With built-in support for Podcasting of both audio and video files, assets can be designated for podcasting, then made available on RSS 2.0 feeds that can be used by iTunes and other podcast-enabled clients. Image Portal A/V is an enterprise class, work-in-progress DAM system utilizing a Service Oriented Architecture. Other notable features include Web Services, WebDAV, LDAP support, versioning, auto-tasking, and statistics reporting. (Pricing not available.)
