Retailer battles price war
this week announced three new FileMaker Pro 8-based solutions. The new software, designed for small- to medium-size businesses, integrate business-management system, point-of-sale system, and ecommerce shopping cart. "From taking orders on the Web to taking orders at the register, the KiBizSystem handles it all. These powerful tools give small businesses greater productivity, flexibility, and convenience. It saves them countless time and effort with automation and integration of key business processes." KiBizSystem 4.0 is an enhanced version of the business-management software, while KiPoint is a touch screen point-of-sale system that can be easily customized and KiShop is a Product Catalog and Shopping Cart that can easily download Web orders into a local Business System with a single-click.
KiBizSystem 4.0 has a new interface design and new consolidated file structure that takes advantage of the new features of FileMaker Pro 8 to give the user greater power and performance to run their business with one program.
KiBizSystem 4.0 Basic includes modules for contact management, sales manageement, staff organizer, products/inventory control, purchasing, order fullfillment, invoicing/accounts receivable, and personnel. Ki BizSystem 4.0 Accounting offers modules for AR/AP, checking/deposits, general ledger, chart of accounts, and eight major accounting reports. Finally, KiBizSystem 4.0 Event and Equipment Rental Management offers scheduling by availability, tracking costs, shipping/receiving, and maintenance modules.
