Ignitek debuts iCheer 212 for iPod nano
"We're really excited to be here at Macworld Expo in the first national display of our products. The unparalleled demand for the iPod has created a huge demand for accessories such as our speakers," says T.C. Hsieh, President. "While we have been shipping 3 of the models for the past 6 months, we expect even greater exposure here in San Francisco."
The flagship iCarrier is an active 3-way, floor standing speaker with subwoofer. It has docking capabilities for almost all models of iPods including the Nano as well as an audio input making it compatible with other MP3 players. The iCarrier also features a variable bass control and includes a remote control. It is available for $230.
The company's iCruiser, also an active 3-way speaker with subwoofer, offers "big sound" in a space saving desktop design. Like its larger sibling, the iCarrier, it also accommodates virtually all iPods and has an audio input for compatibility with other MP3 players. It features a mini-USB and FireWire connections as well as a remote control. It is available for $150.
Ignitek's iCheer is designed as a traveling companion for the iPod shuffle. The Shuffle simply inserts into the speaker creating a totally integrated portable music system--"perfect for the beach or a tabletop." The iCheer is powered by three AA batteries and is available for $70.
