Clear Channel Communications today announced that it has made available on a trial basis on 16 of its radio-station websites in several major markets. The move put the company in competition with Apple's iTunes Music Store, which also sells video content on-demand for $1.99 per-short film or TV episode. The new service, named "Videos On Demand" will offer music videos from major record labels including Universal Music Group, Warner Music, EMI, and others. Content will be made available on station sites in Boston, Los Angeles, and New York, according to a report from MarketWatch.
