10% royality

I wonder if Chrysler knows that Steve want's a 10% royality for each unit sold. I sure would like to receive 10% of each Chrysler vechicle sold.

10% and a clue
01/08, 11:49pm reply
Um, MacJockey, you know that that "10%" would be for the $175 option. Not the um, whole price of the car, right? What's more, they have to pay 0%, if they don't want the "Made for iPod" sticker thingy.
Secondly, if they do want that sticker, um, don't you think Chrysler would be savvy enough to already have that %10 baked into the price already?
I initially assumed that you were just joking, but comments sometimes, I figure better safe than sorry. :)

Seriously?

Um, did you read my last line? I assumed you were joking, then I thought you might not be, don't blame me for your humor. :)
Now Humor would have been; "Hey, maybe they should get 10% of any Chrysler sold! Oh wait, 10% of nothing is still nothing!" (Ba-da-ba)
Seriously though, I wouldn't have said anything if I hadn't seen people post stuff like that and be serious.

Typical of US Automaker
01/10, 04:30pm reply
In typical US Automaker style, they announce a product that NO dealer has a clue about. I called my local Chrysler dealer where I bought my PT Cruiser, and their parts department said that they knew nothing of the thing and to call back later.
Sounds like Vaporware to me.
Go to http://peripheralelectronics.com/web/ipod2car.asp for the iPod2Car which works with Chrysler NOW and can be purchased at Best Buy NOW.
Chrysler, like Ford and GM, are playing catchup with the j*** and the Koreans. Just wait until the Chinese flood our car markets. Oh boy.

Owned PT cruiser too

I purchased the car used with high mileage. Not a highly optioned car. Just power door locks and an automatic. The standard items like the pt cruiser body kit that come with the Touring Edition are also included. It was the proverbial “Little Old Lady” car, the previous owner being a widow in her 70s. She purchased it new and drove it between her summer and winter homes. I think her mechanic became nervous that it was going to need CV joints due to an odd vibration. I replaced all four tires and the vibration ceased.
For the first couple of months I drove the car to work, but as soon as I would get home one of my two daughters would jump in the thing and it would be gone all night. The girls love the ride, comfort and room. One daughter has a friend who is 6'2” who has plenty of leg and head room.
Currently one daughter uses the car as her daily driver. I've replaced the engine in my Continental and am back to using it. When I get to drive the car I enjoy it very much.
I need to trace down the door lock problem. It is at least slightly annoying and can be aggravating on occasion. I will also be installing an after market cruise control in the next few weeks. This is needed because if I just try to hold steady pressure on the throttle the speed fluctuates quite a bit. I will check my speed and then a minute later notice that I'm going 10 miles an hour faster. Also teenage daughters need something that will help to keep their speed in check.
There are four of us in the household, each with our own daily driver. The Cruiser is definitely the favorite, as evidenced by the nearly 20K miles put on the car in one year.
