NoteTaker plugin

MATTI Math today announced the release of the .

Using the NLVM Plug-In for NoteTaker, teachers can construct comprehensive, interactive math lessons that integrate NLVM applets with a rich array of other learning aids. NoteTaker "virtual notebook" technology provides organization tools that empower teachers to efficiently create, collect, organize and distribute lessons by structuring ready access to and management of files of all software types. Resources may be referenced from elsewhere on a computer's hard drive, at a networked location, on external storage media, or on the internet. Within the NoteTaker document itself, users can additionally create instructions, class notes, checklists, and even audio messages for annotating student work.

"NoteTaker is designed to facilitate the learning process. In combination with these applets, it can directly assist in organizing lessons, distributing materials, providing easy research access, enabling concept experimentation or practice, collecting student assignments, and administering tests," said Love. "Integration of the NLVM applets into NoteTaker provides built-in, quality math content for users in a powerful environment. Our education and academic customers are enthusiastic about using interactive math tools to create customized learning modules and lesson plans."
