NovaMind 3 at MWSF

NovaMind Software has announced the upcoming release of the new NovaMind 3, which will be showcased at Macworld Expo next week (booth #2432). NovaMind is designed to conduct and record the outcomes of brainstorming sessions, allowing workgroups or teams to generate ideas for marketing, KPI's, goals and problem resolution. Version 3 features a revamped interface, reduced file sizes by about 90 percent, increased performance of Mind Map manipulation by up to 90 percent, and over 50 other new features, while maintaining simplicity of use, according to the company.

In addition, the new version upgrades its complex Mind Map system with increased information collecting abilities in regards to tasks and available resources. Information can then be easily attached to Mind Map branches, allowing dates and priorities, checkboxes, percentage complete, resource management and assignment to tasks.

Newer, more colorful formats allow you to more easily remember specific images or tasks, contouring Mind Map branches to the individual’s style. In addition, the new NovaMind involves a Branch Proposal System, which automatically suggests thought patterns to help generate more ideas and options for the consumer’s projects.

NovaMind 3 can be purchased online for $100 (standard) or $120 (Screen-writers Edition), while a variety of other multi-user licenses are available. A NovaMind/Merlin bundle can also be purchased for those wishing to take advantage of the useful ability to transfer NovaMind Mind Maps into Merlin project managers with NovaMind’s new, enhanced interface. The software requires Mac OS X 10.2.8.
