HBO interested in deal


HBO's CEO today said the network is hoping to make a deal with Apple Computer at some point to to send video clips of hit television shows, such as the Sopranos, to mobile phone customers.HBO operates multiple premium networks in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America, as well as HBO's many other lines of business.

    yeah, HBO would be stupid to exclude iPod distribution based on their Cingular agreement. And HBO ain't a bunch of idiots, like the music business suits are.

    All of these services definitely are trying to compete with iTunes, in fact they are fixated on it. This is probably HBO trying to put pressure on Cingular to close the deal.
