Griffin responds to DLO
Griffin Technology today responded to against the company for alleged infringement of patents related the company's RoadTrip FM Transmitter. Griffin says company that DLO's patent is not valid. "We do not believe that the DLO patent is valid, nor that any of our products infringes the patent." Griffin said that it has sued Netalog in 2004 for a declaration to the same effect. Griffin told MacNN that it has filed motions asking that the case be dismissed on those grounds and that the court is currently considering those motions. Griffin also claims that DLO filed the lawsuit while simultaneously and secretly recruiting one of Griffin's senior managers, which the company says is under separate litigation.

I never liked DLO!
DLO has never ranked very high on my favorite company list. As a matter of fact they strike me as kind of underhanded and not a very reputable company. Griffin on the other hand comes across as a much more trust worthy company. I hope Griffin prevails, as I do believe they are the more innovative company.
