Video encoding to iPods
, a Hollywood based digital archiving management company, now offers output of all content stored by clients to the new Apple's iPod video. Using a single click, BAM (bitMAX asset manager) users can output content to be played on this new portable device to be shared company-wide. "This natural offshoot of digital media distributionanswers the need for companies to easily and cost effectively distribute and share their media electronically at a high enough quality that provides a new 'punch' to their marketing arsenal," according to the company. It is available to all users effective immediately and requires only that they have QuickTime 7 and the latest version of iTunes installed. The product is compatible with both Mac and PC platforms.
"This is but one of the first methods that users can easily show media on a portable device that has as wide a user base as the iPod does," states Marjorie Bach, bitMAX's Exec. VP. "Apple's product offering made this a 'no-brainer' for us and we are excited to offer it to our clients."
bitMAX archives assets on our servers in broadcast digital quality for premium reproduction and re-purposing to any format or delivery method. After encoding, BAM! can organize and manage content as well as deliver it exactly as you wish anywhere in the world via any Web browser. Clients can edit, preview, approve them for output to any media, and allow their audiences online access for instant viewing.
"With BAM! clients can see exactly what work they have in their digital archive. They can review the metadata stored, edit it, preview the edits and order those works to any media format available. BitMAX handles the fulfillment of your requested shipment."
