NBC on Apple\'s iTunes
Apple this morning has quietly added more video content to the US version of its iTunes Music Store, including content from NBC, USA Networks, and the Sci Fi channel. Following the landmark TV content agreement with ABC earlier this year and its move to to the industry-leading iTunes.

gosh, i love when networks fight for ratings! probably some network executive looked at the top downloaded videos and saw Lost, Lost, Lost, Lost, Lost, Desperate Hausfraus and wondered why Law & Order wasn't in the list.

I know we Mac users will find something to complain about. One thing we don't is Content on iTMS. When it first was announced people complained there was no content. Now the content providers can't put it out on iTunes fast enough. NBC, ABC, Soon Fox and ESPN? Who will be next?

How long until we start seeing full motion pictures on iTMS? It's only a matter of time. Lets face it. These TV shows are half as long as your average movie so bandwidth isn't going to be a problem for most people who are current users of the video service. I wouldn't be surprised if Apple isn't already entering into talks with big studios on this very thing.
Except Sony. You won't see Sony movies on iTMS before the end of the next ice age (as in actual ice age, not the movie Ice Age 2). I could understand the argument of Sony not wanting to help their competition, but first they have to actually start competing. And know one can make the argument to me that Sony has been successfully competing against Apple in any area other than the PSP, and that is more a coincidence than anything else.

The resolution sucks

It may not matter for sitcoms, but to watch Battlestar Gallactica the resolution should be at least that of DVD. And no surround sound or 5.1 makes me say, "Wait for the DVD box set".
