Captain FTP 4.4 released
Xinet today released , its FTP client that allows local network FTP users to share files between each other directly. Version 4.3 offers "Captain to Captain" direct transfers, as well as a new tabbed graphical interface. The update also enables faster transfers, sync browsing, customizable action buttons in the toolbar, and "hot folders." The software now supports standard Macintosh and UNIX newline characters, and presents the server name of the active tab in the title bar. Captain FTP 4.4 offers numerous bug fixes, is available for $25, and requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
