Wal-Mart changes tune, sells Nanos
Apple's iPod was one of the hottest items this year during the Thanksgiving holidays thanks in part to Wal-Mart. The company, which did not carry the iPod last year, said that the company had a "philosophical argument" with Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs over whether the iPod player should play music from more varied sources: "He won, we lost. Now we have Nanos in the stores," Fitzsimmons said, referring to the latest, smallest version of the iPod. Wal-Mart said Saturday its Black Friday sales were good, with strong sales of computers, dolls, portable DVD players and video games, although it didn't provide precise sales figures. Wal-Mart estimated that its sales at stores open at least a year - or same-store sales, a closely watched measure of retail performance - rose 4.3% in November, compared with its original forecast for a 3% to 5% increase.

I commend Apple for sticking to their guns and not cave into pressure from Walmart on their terms.
First, there is no need for this language as "jimster" had explained quite correctly about what Wal-Mart has done in response to Apple's sticking to their guns in keeping the wholesale price where it's at a COMPETITIVE price! In the end, it's a win-win for both parties involved.
Second, if you don't like Wal-Mart or George W. Bush, I would suggest to "climacs" (interesting moniker there!) that he or she vacate out of the country and go live amongst his or her fellow Muslim extremist, Jihad loving compatriots and see how well they fare there where there is NO freedom, NO ability to post comments such as were posted and I suspect I'm dealing with a 15-year old who "thinks" they know all about world affairs at such a young age... I doubt it.
Let me clear something up for you. I served our country to preserve my, yours, and climax's right to be critical of our government, and I don't appreciate your contention that because I think this president is a disaster for our country that speaking out about it makes me unpatriotic.
If you don't like it, you can kiss my red, white , and blue ass just before you leave this free speaking country.
so, if I disagree with Bush and disapprove of Wal-Mart, I'm in league with Islamic extremists?
What an idiot you are. How do you remember to breathe without a sticky note to remind you?
But there aren't any conservatives these days, just worshippers of the Bush cult. If W says 2+2 is 5, then people like fritzw1957 agree and anyone who says otherwise are America-hating Saddam-lovers.
George W. Bush is not a political philosophy.
By the way fritzw, how's the hunt for Osama going? You know, that guy who killed 3000 people in NY and DC and PA on 9/11? Bush sure doesn't remember who he is.
Or how about these greatest hits of your false idol GW Bush?
"Mission Accomplished!"
"Bring 'em on!"

Just a reminder - because I know it will piss off fritzw1957 and ruin his day...
Clinton's LOWEST approval rating during the trumped-up impeachment was 57%.
Have a nice day. I sure will.
